Our name

Swifter, and built to last.

Celerior is Latin for “swifter”, the comparative of celer, meaning swift. It shares its root with the English word accelerate. We chose the comparative on purpose: not the swiftest, but always a little swifter, through better planning and preparation.

Luxor is the city on the east bank of the Nile in Upper Egypt that stands on the site of ancient Thebes. Its name comes from the Arabic al-Uqsur, “the palaces”. The city grew on goods that reached it reliably along the river, and its temples have stood for more than three thousand years.

Together, the name says what we promise: goods moved swiftly, to a standard that lasts.
