2. This website
This website has no contact forms, no user accounts and no advertising. It does not set cookies or use tracking tools.
The site is hosted by Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site against attacks, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page visits. It does not use cookies and does not identify individual visitors.
3. When you contact us
If you contact us by email, telephone or WhatsApp, we collect the information you choose to give us. This usually includes your name, company, contact details, the content of your message and details of the freight you want moved.
We use this information to reply to you, prepare quotations, provide our services and keep business records. We process it because it is needed to take steps you have asked for before entering into a contract, or to perform a contract with you; because the law requires us to keep certain records; or because it is in our legitimate interest to run our business, as permitted by section 11 of POPIA.
We do not send marketing messages without your consent, and we do not sell personal information.
4. Who we share it with
We share personal information only where needed for the purposes above, with:
- service providers who host our website, email and communications;
- our professional advisers, such as accountants and attorneys;
- insurers, financiers and clearing agents, where this is needed to provide a service or handle a claim; and
- public authorities, where the law requires it.
5. Information stored outside South Africa
Some of our service providers, including our website host, email provider and WhatsApp, may store or process information outside South Africa. Where this happens, we rely on the safeguards permitted by section 72 of POPIA, such as the provider’s binding data-processing terms.
6. How long we keep it
We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected for, or for as long as the law requires us to keep business, tax and company records.
7. How we protect it
We take appropriate, reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, damage and unauthorised access, including encrypted connections and restricted access to company systems.
8. Your rights
You may ask us whether we hold personal information about you and request a copy, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we process it. Send your request to [email protected]. We may need to confirm your identity before we act on a request.
